The reason we don't have an online donation facility currently is because most online donation providers only operate with western bank accounts. The ones that do operate with Cambodian bank accounts tend to house donations and then transfer money, but the fees associated are often quite high (from 7% to 15% of the donation value) - therefore, until a reasonably priced solution can be found, KHEN prefers that donations are transferred directly using our bank details.

PLEASE ALSO SPECIFY WHEN YOU GET IN TOUCH IF YOU'RE PLANNING ON DONATING A SUM OF $500 USD OR GREATER. IT MIGHT BE POSSIBLE TO BECOME A PARTNER AND SPONSOR A SPECIFIC PROJECT THIS WAY.

Below is a list of typical purchases made by KHEN that your donations may be spent on - this may help you decide how much to donate:

• $7.5 USD = Pre School Student chair and Desk (kindergarten)- 1 Child
• $7 USD = School Study Kit - School Bag, Books, Pens, Ruler, Pencil, Shrapener, Eraser, Chalk and Blackboard - 1 Child
• $12.50 USD = ​School Study Kit plus School Uniform and Shoes - 1 Child
• $25 USD = First Aid Kit - 1 classroom
• $55 USD = School WASH and Hygiene Kit
• $60 USD = Mobile Study Kit for Disabled Children - Same as school study kit with extras to study from home inc White Board, Desk, Chair, Text Books - 1 Child
• $150 USD = Teaching Material for teachers - per classroom

• $750 USD = School Giant Jar Water System - 6000 Liters
• $1250 USD =  School Giant jar Water System - 9000 Liters
  
• $3000 USD = School Full Water Tank System - 14000 Liters

$10,500 USD = A Brand new School Building - 3 Class Rooms, 2 Toilets, Furnishing and Painting. This total cost includes some of the following items:

• $35 USD = Simple Community Style Wooden Desk - for 4 Students
• $45 USD = Teacher Desk, Rattan Cabinet and Chair
• $40 USD = Student Desk with Drawer - for 2 Students
• $500 USD = Painting (To paint the whole school) -inside and outside
• $550 USD = Wooden 2 Room Disabled Accessible Toilet Building

We guarantee that your donations will be spent wisely, fulling project goals and KHENs mission. Thus, spending is likely to be on the items from the above list. However, donations we receive are considered general purpose donations which means the money could be used for a number of KHEN's requirements. This could range from helping us buy more equipment for children and schools, one off care for vulnerable children, to a portion of a larger fund for bigger projects such as a school build, as well as supporting functions costs.
