Our Projects
A SUSTAINABLE LONG TERM APPROACH
At KHEN we aim to implement our mission through the above project focus areas using a sustainable long term model. This involves setting up and improving schools (pre and primary schools) scoped by our projects, in collaboration with local authorities and partners with an end goal of handing-over the responsibility for ongoing management to local authorities (the education district office or community authorities) with the support of government funding. At the final phase of each project, KHEN gradually withdraws services to ensure capacity of local authorities has been attained and recommences the process of identifying other communities which require or would benefit from KHEN and their partners' support.
