Zero Tolerance - Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment

KHEN has zero tolerance for any behaviours that lead to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment and has a strong commitment to ensuring our work provides protection and an effective response to SEA(H). This applies to all KHEN’s staff, volunteers (foreign and domestic), children, community members, consultants, board of directors, donors, international and local guests, visitors, interns, staff or contractors under short-term or long-term contract (trainer, interns).

KHEN is honored and recognized for its works in contributing for positive lives changing for rural children and communities through Accessing to Education, and Quality of Education in remote areas, and Rural Community Schools Building, Khen team has been continuing from 2014 to presents.
We are very GRATEFUL to our donors, and our supporters who have been supporting KHEN for our core works together for " Future of the Country" through Education, and Make Rights to Education Real for the Poor and Rural Children.
(The Gold Medal was presented to KHEN - February 2020).

EMPLOYING YOUTH AND CAPACITY BUILDING CHILD CLUB LEADERS FROM RURAL AREAS SO LEARNING, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE STAYS IN THE LOCAL AREA AT THE END OF PROJECTS - MANY NGOS EMPLOY STAFF WHO LIVE IN TOWNS / CITIES E.G. BATTAMBANG OR PHNOM PENH AND ONLY VISIT RURAL AREAS FOR WORK

PARTNERING WITH THE PROVINCIAL / DISTRICT OFFICE OF EDUCATION (P/DoE) & LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITH AN END GOAL OF TRANSFERRING SCHOOL PROJECTS TO P/DoE / COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY SO THAT EDUCATION CHANGES CONTINUE AFTER THE PROJECT FINISHES - IE THE PROJECTS ARE SUSTAINABLE

VALUE FOR DONOR MONEY AND COMMITTMENT - KHEN AIMS TO FUFILL ITS OBJECTIVES BY USING GOOD VALUE LOCAL RESOURCES AND MOBILISATION. KHEN STAFF ARE 100% COMMITTED TO KHEN's CAUSES AND WHERE APPROPRIATE, VOLUNTARY WORK IS CONDUCTED RECOGNISING THAT THE MOST IMPRORTANT THING IS SUPPORTING LOCAL CHILDREN THROUGH ONGOING PROJECT AND SCHOOL SUPPORT.
